Love To Reason Br, Time To Leave Headline Danville Station On Friday Night

LOS ALAMITOS, CA—MARCH 7, 2019—Mario Hurtado's multiple stakes winner Love To Reason BR will face recent Denim N Diamonds Handicap winner Time To Leave and four other top distaffers in the $15,000 Danville Station Handicap at 350 yards on Friday at Los Alamitos.

Named in honor of the 1982 Anne Burnett Handicap and Vessels Maturity winning mare, the Danville Station is the featured event of the night. As a reminder, first post on Fridays is now 6 p.m. (PST).

Trained by Monty Arrossa and to be ridden by Jose Nicasio, Love To Reason BR returns to action for the first time since running fourth to Thermonuclear Energy and a star-studded cast in the Grade 1 Charger Bar Handicap on January 6.

The 6-year-old Love To Reason BR was a multiple stakes winner at Los Alamitos last year, winning the Blane Schvaneveldt Handicap and Las Damas Handicap. The daughter of Good Reason SA has won five of her last 10 outings.

Ed Allred's Time To Leave outdueled a quality field of mares that included the return of Thermonuclear Energy to win the Denim N Diamonds at 350 yards on February 16. The victory was Time To Leave's second in a row after she had scored in an allowance race on December 30.

The razor-sharp daughter of Walk Thru Fire will be joined in this race by Laurel and C.K. Allen's stakes winner Strawfinders Jessee, who ran a solid third in the Denim N Diamonds in her first start since last September.

Just Walk By, Newport Coaster and La Rusa will complete the field.
