TULSA, OK—JUNE 13, 2019—Regina Laymon’s Hooked On A Win, a stakes winner during the recently concluded Remington Park spring meet, heads a field of 10 sprinters entered in Sunday’s 350-yard, $15,000 Golden Driller Stakes at Fair Meadows at Tulsa.
A 4-year-old son of Pyc Paint Your Wagon, Hooked On A Win will be shortening in distance off of his three-quarter length victory in the 400-yard, $68,000 Boyd Morris Memorial Stakes (R) on May 27. The gelding earned $59,014 from three outs at Remington, and he ran third in the 400-yard, $100,000 Sooner State Stakes (RG1) on April 20.
Hooked On A Win drew post 3 and will be ridden by Daniel Torres for trainer Kenny Laymon.
