TULSA, OK—JUNE 20, 2019—Jonathan Chavira’s Blazen Panther, a graded stakes placed 8-year-old son of champion Panther Mountain, heads a full field of eight distance specialists entered in Saturday’s 870-yard, $15,000 Expo Square Stakes at Fair Meadows at Tulsa.

Blazen Panther is coming off of a Remington Park spring campaign during which he ran second, two lengths behind winner Ms Esther, in the 870-yard, $50,000 Pauls Valley Stakes (G3) on April 4. The gelding drew the rail post and will be ridden by Daniel Torres for trainer Luz Chavira.

The complete lineup, in post position order including jockey assignments:

Also on Saturday, a field of nine 2-year-olds has been entered in the 350-yard, $15,000 Fair Meadows Juvenile Stakes Moxxy, a homebred daughter of Lota Pyc racing for Andrea M. Esqueda and trainer Robert Esqueda, is coming off of a third-place finish, a half of a length behind winner Relentless Gun, in the 350-yard, $50,000 Heritage Place Juvenile Stakes at Remington Park on June 1. The filly drew post 4 and will be ridden by Benny Landeros.
