GILLETTE, WY—JUNE 27, 2019—Jessica Hadley’s Makn Risky Moves, the fastest qualifier, will risk his undefeated record in Saturday’s 350-yard, $50,000 Cowboy State Futurity at Energy Downs.
A Utah-bred son of Maknmoves, Makn Risky Moves has won all three of his starts, and he is coming off of a one-length victory in the first of four trials on June 15. The gelding drew post 4 and will be ridden by Uriel Dominguez for trainer Jordan Hadley.
Mauis Interested, a homebred gray Seperate Interest gelding trained by Jay Pitcher for owners Kirk Woolf and Ralph Hartline, drew post 10 and will be ridden by Oscar Cervantes. Mauis Interest has earned $5,645 from three starts, and he was a finalist in the 330-yard, $77,475 Hadley/Giles Futurity at Weber Downs on June 1.
