Financial Top Returns in Hill Country Classic

FREDERICKSBURG, TX—JULY 5, 2019—Financial Top, a stakes placed 5-year-old son of Heza Fast Dash owned by Gerardo Prado and Karla Diaz, drew the rail post for Saturday’s 350-yard, $18,000-added Hill Country Classic Stakes at the Gillespie County Fair.

Financial Top is coming off of a second-place finish, a half of a length behind winner Rip Tide, in the 330-yard, $20,000 Par-A-Dice Stakes at Delta Downs on June 22. The gelding’s season resume includes a fourth-place run in the 440-yard, $65,637 Bank of America Sam Houston Challenge (G2) on May 11.

Financial Top will be ridden by Francisco Calderon for trainer Adrian Huitron.
