Fifty-Seven 2-Year-Olds Entered in Speedhorse Futurity Trials

TULSA, OK—JULY 9, 2019—FMM Rocking Cartel and Relentless Jessie are among the 57 juveniles entered in Friday’s 350-yard Speedhorse Futurity (G3) trials at Fair Meadows at Tulsa.

FMM Rocking Cartel is trained by John Foutch for owner Rancho El Porvenir. A brown son of Teller Ima Rockstar, the gelding is coming off of a Remington Park spring campaign during which he earned $26,990 from three starts and won the 300-yard, $50,000 Oklahoma Juvenile Invitational Stakes in March.

FMM Rocking Cartel drew post 7 and will be ridden by Gaspar Garcia in the seventh of eight trials.

Relentless Jessie is a sorrel daughter of Hes Relentless owned and trained by Manuel Francisco Mata. The filly has banked $42,682 from four outs and was a finalist in the April 20, $895,210 Remington Park Futurity (RG1).

Relentless Jessie drew post 5 and will be ridden by Daniel Torres in the sixth heat.

The 10 fastest qualifiers will meet in the $222,000-est. Speedhorse Futurity final on July 27.
