LOS ALAMITOS, CA— May 4, 2015—It was a night of record pools at Los Alamitos on Sunday (May 3), as the Orange County oval enjoyed its biggest handles in both the early and late Pick Fours on Kindergarten Futurity trial night.

The pool for the early Pick Four was a record $178,248, bettering the previous mark of $172,805 set a year ago on Saturday, May 3, 2014, while the late Pick Four handled $141,711, easily the highest mark ever. The previous late Pick Four record of $124,157 was set a year ago on Sunday, May 4, 2014. Sunday’s program featured trials to Grade 2 Kindergarten Futurity, the first Quarter Horse futurity of the year at Los Alamitos.

Other highlights for the week:

• A record average of $152,726 for the early Pick Four.
• A record average for the late Pick 4 of $107,440.
• A record for combined money wagered in the early and late Pick Fours during a single night of $319,959.
• Record pools for back-to-back nights in the early Pick 4 of $314,712 on
  May 2-3.
