Races Return To Ohio's All American Quarter Horse Congress

CINCINNATI, OH—MAY 4, 2016—The All American Quarter Horse Congress, in collaboration with Ohio Quarter Horse Racing Association, announces the return of the Congress Futurity, a $15,000-added event for 2-year-olds (foals of 2014), run over 350 yards.

Trials will run in September, two weeks prior to the finals, with $1,000 added. The Futurity final is slated for October 6-9th (precise date to be announced) and held at Belterra Park in Cincinnati, Ohio. The next nomination payment is due June 1.

In addition, the Congress Maturity Bank Of America Challenge Stakes will run the same day as the Futurity Race. It offers $15,000 added, which includes $7,500 from the Bank of America Racing Challenge.

Quarter Horse Racing has been part of the All American Quarter Horse Congress since its original debut in 1967. With the closing of Beulah Park in 2013, the Ohio Quarter Horse Racing Association has made a collaborative effort with OQHA to bring back Quarter Horse racing to the AAQHC. The All American Quarter Horse Congress is the only Quarter Horse show in the world that offers such a diverse schedule of disciplines as to include quarter horse racing.

Information on nomination and payments are available by downloading the All American Quarter Horse Congress Racing Entry form. For additional information, contact: Tamie Grandstaff, 419-560-4215, horses@sgstables.com.
