LOS ALAMITOS, CA—DECEMBER 7, 2016—Los Alamitos will host a special post-position draw at approximately 2:30 p.m. (PDT) today (Wednesday) for the Grade 1 Los Alamitos Two Million Futurity and Grade 1 Champion of Champions. The draw will take place in the Finish Line Room at Los Alamitos and will be televised nationally on TVG.

Media members, horsemen and the general public are invited to attend the draw festivities. Los Alamitos track announcer Ed Burgart will also announce the morning line for the December 10 $600,000 Champion of Champions and the $1,950,050 Los Alamitos Two Million Futurity on December 11.

The Champion of Champions will be headed by defending winner Heza Dasha Fire, the reigning AQHA World Champion, plus Mildred Vessels Memorial Handicap winner Sass Me Blue, Vessels Maturity winner He Looks Hot, Bank of America Championship winner AJs High, Los Alamitos Super Derby winner Big Lew and more.

The Los Alamitos Two Million Futurity will be headed by fastest qualifier Lotta Blues Man, winner of the Golden State Million Futurity. Other top juveniles in action will include the Grade 1 stakes placed runner Worth Doing and second fastest qualifier Kissed By An Eagle.

Connections of each of the horses competing in the Los Alamitos Two Million and Champions of Champions will be able to select their post position based on a random draw that will be conducted earlier in the week.
