Stall Allocations Finalized For Summer Season at Ruidoso Downs

RUIDOSO DOWNS, NM—MARCH 27, 2017—The stall allocations for the summer season at Ruidoso Downs starting on May 26 have been finalized.

The season starts with trials to the Grade 1, $1-million (est.) Ruidoso Futurity and concludes on Labor Day with the running of the iconic Grade 1, $3-million All American Futurity. There are seven Grade 1 stakes this summer at the mountain track.

All stalls that are not occupied by June 10 are subject to be reassigned.

Health papers and health inspections on incoming horses must be performed by a veterinarian at the horse’s point of origin (where the horse is shipped from).

Judd Kearl, the 2016 champion trainer, will be bringing his high-powered stable to Ruidoso Downs while 2016 champion jockey Esgar Ramirez will be riding throughout the season at Ruidoso Downs.
