Richard and Genny moved to Denver where they worked and raised four children. Family was very important to Richard and for the next 20+ years there was fishing, hunting, roller skating, ice skating, snow skiing, water skiing and … so many memories.

He loved working the pastures on his tractors, mowing the grass, and watching the babies grow. Richard bred and raised some of the best racehorses around.

He won races all over including California, Texas, Arizona, Oklahoma, New Mexico and Colorado.

During his horseracing career, he won numerous awards for champion and reserve champion racehorses from the Rocky Mountain Quarter Horse Association as well as Superior Racehorses from the American Quarter Horse Association.
