LOS ALAMITOS, CA—DECEMBER 6, 2018—Los Alamitos will host a special post-position draw at approximately 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, December 12 for the Grade 1 Los Alamitos Two Million Futurity and Grade 1 Champion of Champions. The draw will take place in the Finish Line Room at Los Alamitos and will be televised nationally on TVG.

Media members, horsemen and the general public are invited to attend the draw festivities. Los Alamitos track announcer Ed Burgart will also announce the morning line for the December 15 Champion of Champions and December 16 Los Alamitos Two Million Futurity.

The Champion of Champions will be headed by two past winners of the race, 2016 winner Zoomin For Spuds and 2015 winner Heza Dasha Fire, plus Los Alamitos Super Derby winner Jesstacartel, Mildred Vessels Memorial Handicap winner Jess Ravin, Los Alamitos Winter Championship and Bank of America Challenge Championship winner BH Lisas Boy, Grade 1 winners He Looks Hot, Tarzanito, Bodacious Eagle and Jess Ravin, and talented runners LD Is Back and Yanque.

The Los Alamitos Two Million Futurity will be headed by fastest qualifier Ali Babe Foose and Golden State Million winner Flash And Roll. Other top juveniles in action include Governor’s Cup Futurity winner Powerful Favorite and multiple Grade 1 finalist Apollitical Pence.

Connections of each of the horses competing in the Los Alamitos Two Million and Champions of Champions will be able to select their post position based on a random draw that will be conducted earlier in the week.
