RUIDOSO DOWNS, NM—APRIL 16, 2019—Billy's Sports Bar and Grill offers a brunch buffet on Easter Sunday, April 21st, from 9 a.m. to 1 pm (MDT) and continues brunch service through the summer racing season beginning on Mother's Day weekend.

The 2019 season horse racing season opens May 10 and runs through Labor Day weekend, with racing conducted Fridays, Saturdays, Sunday and three special holidays. They are Memorial Day, Monday May 27th; Thursday, Fourth of July; and Monday, Labor Day September 2nd.

The Sunday brunch menu includes scrambled eggs, bacon, hash browns, biscuits and gravy for $6.99.

"The brunch was popular when featured this past winter, so we're bringing it back for Easter and the rest of the season," president and general manager Jeff True said. "We've been adding more activity in our sports bar during the evenings with live entertainment and the Sunday brunch is a natural extension of that."

Billy's Sports Bar and Grill will be designated a "smoke-free" area till 9:30 pm each night, beginning April 21. Smoking will continue to be allowed inside the simulcast area and on the casino gaming floor.

"For everyone's comfort, we listened to the feedback and made the decision to eliminate smoking in that dining room until late evening when food service has ended." True said.

Billy's Sports Bar and Grill features karaoke on Friday nights with a $6.95 green chile cheeseburger special, and Saturday night presents live bands with a $14.95 ribeye or prime rib steak special. These specials will continue through horse racing season.

These bands are scheduled to appear inside the sports bar during the summer horse racing season.
