LOS ALAMITOS, CA—OCTOBER 9, 2019—The $60,422 Pick 6 Carryover headlines the Friday night action at Los Alamitos, which gets started at 7 p.m. (PDT). Eight races are on tap with the Pick 6 sequence beginning with the third race on the card.

Track announcer Ed Burgart will host a special preview show on Friday night analyzing the Pick 6 sequence. He'll be joined on the broadcast by Curtis Treece, the Equibase chart caller and trackman at Los Alamitos.

The show will take place at approximately 6 p.m. on the Los Alamitos satellite broadcast channel. Chris Wade, the host and racing analyst of the nightly satellite broadcast, will also provide his selections for each and every race on the Friday night card. Burgart and Wade's picks are also available nightly at losalamitos.com.

The fields for the Pick 6 sequence are solid with an average size of 7 horses per race. The feature event is a $13,400 allowance in the eighth race featuring an eight-horse field led by 2019 derby finalists Galloping Goddess and Delayed Steal.

Owned by Lupe Ayon, Galloping Goddess will be making his first start since finishing sixth in the Governor's Cup Derby on July 27. Delayed Steal was disqualified for interference in the Grade 2 Golden State Derby in mid-August and has since returned with a fifth place finish in a trial to the PCQHRA Breeders Derby. Trump Train could surprise in here.
