New All-Quarter Horse Handle Record Set At Indiana Grand Racing & Casino
Three additional all-Quarter Horse racing programs are set for Saturdays in 2020. The next day dedicated to the sprinters is Aug. 8 followed by programs on Oct. 3 and Oct. 24.

New All-Quarter Horse Handle Record Set At Indiana Grand Racing & Casino

SHELBYVILLE, IN—JULY 4, 2020—Indiana Grand Racing & Casino completed its first of four all-Quarter Horse racing programs to record numbers Saturday, July 14.

A total of $811,380 was wagered to establish a new record for most handle ever on an all-Quarter Horse racing program.

The 13-race program began at 10 a.m. The previous record of $578,742 was established on a 10-race card Saturday, Aug. 12, 2017.

However, after nine races, the record handle was already $50,000 ahead of the previous record set in 2017.

Three more all-Quarter Horse racing programs are slated for Saturdays in 2020. The next day dedicated to the sprinters is Aug. 8 followed by programs on Oct. 3 and Oct. 24.

Live racing continues through Wednesday, Nov. 18 with action held Monday through Thursday beginning at 2:20 p.m. Four Saturday programs are slated for all-Quarter Horse days set for July 4, Aug. 8, Oct. 23 and Oct. 24.
