Stakes winner Seize The Win will be making his Canadian derbut in Sunday’s Adequan Ajax Downs Derby Challenge trials.

AJAX, ONTARIO—JUNE 26, 2015—Seize The Win, a stakes-winning son of Pyc Paint Your Wagon racing for Glenn L. Graff, will be making north-of-the-border derbut in Sunday’s Adequan Ajax Downs Derby Challenge trials.

The 10 fastest qualifiers from Sunday’s 400-yard trials will meet in the $20,000-added final on July 12.

Seize The Win is coming off of a second-place finish in a 400-yard Heritage Place Derby (G2) trial at Remington Park on May 10. The colt won two of his four outs at the Hialeah Park winter meet in Florida, including the 400-yard, $418,000 Hialeah Derby in January.

Shanley Jackson will ride Seize The Win for trainer Stephanie Keeble from post 6 in the second of two trials.

Other prominent sophomores entered include Eyesa Speedy Simon. A gelded son of Its All About Speed racing for Brian Hall and Jeremy Hall and trained by Keeble, Eyesa Speedy Simon ended his 2-year-old campaign with a one-length victory in the October 13, $96,000 Ontario Sires Futurity (R) at Ajax Downs.

Aron Hunt has been named to ride Eyesa Speedy Simon from post 6 in the first heat.
