BOISE, ID—JULY 27, 2015—Ynot Walk, a California-bred son of Walk Thru Fire, is the 5-2 morning-line favorite for Wednesday’s 400-yard, $42,030 Adequan Les Bois Park Derby Challenge Stakes.
The Derby Challenge is one of two stakes to be offered at Les Bois Park on Wednesday. The other, the 870-yard, $27,270 Zoetis Les Bois Park Distance Challenge, has drawn a full field of eight distance specialists.
Ynot Walk is trained by James Hanson for owners RTM Stables LLC and George T. Weldon. The gelding currently boasts a three-race win streak that includes a half-length victory as the 2-1 choice in the 400-yard, $209,000 Los Alamitos Winter Derby (G2).
Ynot Walk drew post 6 and will be ridden by Eddie Aceves. Hanson will also send out fastest qualifier James First Affair, a colt by Ivory James racing for Robin Dunn, Larry Chapple, and RTM Stables LLC. A stakes winner during the current Les Bois meet, James First Affair is coming off of a three-quarter length score in the second of three trials on July 15.

John G. Johnson’s Hastabealeader, the fastest qualifier and morning-line favorite, drew post 7 for the Zoetis Les Bois Park Distance Challenge.
Trained by Robert Johnson, Hastabealeader has won three of his four starts and has banked $10,549 this season. Eddie Aceves will ride the 5-year-old Hasta Be Fast gelding on Wednesday.
