Summer Sale Graduates Continue to Highlight Remington Park Training Races for 2YO's on Wednesday

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK—MARCH 11, 2019—A number of high-dollar summer sale yearlings will face each other Wednesday as Remington Park hosts another eight training races for 2-year-olds.

First post is for 12 noon and all races will be conducted at 250 yards.

Soul Kisser, a $225,000 Ruidoso Select Yearling Sale graduate by champion by first-crop sire Kiss My Hocks, will head Race 5 for owner MRB Racing and trainer Manuel Rodriguez. Out of Heritage Place Juvenile winner Cartel Rosie, Soul Kisser will race from post 6. This is the family of champion Tiny First Effort and stakes winners Tiny First Down, Terrific Energy, Lynnder 16, Sizzling, Ima Chickie Two, etc.

$55,000 Heritage Place graduate Tf Ima Corona Cartel will start from post 4 in Race 5 for owner Rancor El Cabresto, Inc. and trainer Trey Wood. The daughter of leading sire Corona Cartel and grade 3 winner Xo Kate, by Stoli, is a half-sister to three black-type runners as well 2019 Oklahoma Futurity(G2) finalist Tf Kates Tlc.

Jess Charger, a $55,000 Ruidoso Yearling graduate, races from post 7 in Race 5. Margarito Montalvo owns the colt by leading sire Mr Jess Perry from Heritage Place Juvenile runner-up Bp First Cartel by Corona Cartel. Jess Charger's dam is half-sister to Retama Park Derby winner Bp Wagon Train and stakes winner Bp Painted Lady.

Race 6 features $95,000 Heritage Place graduate La Blue Perry and $37,000 Heritage graduate Pr Touch Corona.

Trainer Jose Barron will saddled La Blue Perry for owner Hugo Barron Sierra, from post 6 in Race 6. The Mr Jess Perry colt is the first foal out of the Walk Thru Fire mare La Blue Angel. The second dam is world champion Blues Girl Too by Corona Cartel.

Also starting from the inside rail in Race 6 is $37,000 Heritage Place Yearling graduate Pr Tough Corona, a Corona Cartel colt out of grade 2-placed Bonnie Streakin by Streakin La Jolla. Owned by Tom Scheckel and conditioned by Shawna Manriquez, the bay colt is a brother to Valley Junction Futurity winner Streakin Pr and RG1-placed Too Tiny To Quit.

Alchemyst, a $57,000 TQHA Yearling Sale repurchase, and Smokin Gray Eagle, a $40,000 Ruidoso Select Yearling graduate, will face off in Race 1.

Trainer John Buchanan will saddle Alchemyst for owner/breeder Bobby D. Cox. The son of multiple stakes sire Freighttrain B is a half-brother to stakes winners Zenergetic and Enthusiastique. The second dam is the RG1 winner No Fees by Runaway Winner. The brown gelding will start from post 2.

Smokin Gray Eagle, a One Dashing Eagle colt and the first foal out of the Corona Cartel mare Smokie Corona Chick, races for owner MRB Racing and trainer Manuel Rodriguez. The gray colt, from the family of champion Whosleavingyou and grade 2 winner and champion sire Coronas Leaving You, starts from post 6.

Trainer Trey Wood will saddled Sheza Early Bird, a $55,000 Ruidoso Select Yearling graduate, from post 2 and Race 2. Newman Cattle Co. owns the daughter of leading first-crop sire Hes Relentless from the stakes winner FDD Dynasty mare Miss Southern DD, a half-sister to Remington Championship(G1) winner Priceless Feature and a sister to the dam of Ruidoso Futurity(G1) winner Uptown Dynasty.

Four five-figure summer sale graduates face off in Race 3.

Seissita, a $60,000 Heritage Place Sale graduate, will race from post 8 for the ownership group of Clonts, Young and Herrock. Guillermo Valdivia trains the Tres Seis filly out of Lubbock Stakes(G2) winner Shesa First Ratify by First Downs Dash.

Jose Barron will saddled First Of Tres Pz, a $50,000 Ruidoso Select graduate, for owner Hugo Barron Sierra. The Tres Seis half-brother to grade 1 winner Streakin Down and stakes winners Leanin Toit and Apollitical Lady from post 5.

Chevaux, a $50,000 Heritage Place Yearling repurchase, races from Post 6 for owner Bobby Cox and trainer John Buchanan. The sorrel gelding by first-crop sire Kiss My Hocks is a half-bother to 2018 AQHA Racing World Champion Bodacious Eagle.

Also starting in Race 3 is the Kiss My Hocks colt Rock Hard Rooster, a $40,000 Heritage Place Yearling graduate. Trainer Manuel Rodriguez will saddle the sorrel gelding from the Mr Jess Perry mare Sixydeperry, for owner MRB Racing.

Vf Politics N Chicks, a $50,000 Heritage Place Sale graduate, will head five summer sale graduates in Race 7. Trainer Jason Almstead trains the son of leading sire Apollitical Jess for owner Richard Tobin. Vf Politics N Chicks is out of the RG3 winner Dashin Chick by Dashin Bye .

Trainer Ivan Carnero will saddled Alotalota for owner Whiting Ranch from post 2 in Race 7. The $25,000 Heritage Place Yearling graduate is out of Crazy About Corona, a stakes winning and stakes producing Corona Cartel mare.

Friendly Isle, a $22,000 Ruidoso graduate, will start from post 7 in Race 7 for owner Margarito Montalvo and trainer Cruz Villafranco. The Favorite Cartel filly out of stakes winner Classic Sassy Chic, by A Classic Dash, is a half-sister to three black type.

Trainer Manuel Rodriguez will saddle $21,000 Heritage Place graduate Combined for MRB Racing from post 8 and Race 7. By champion first-crop sire Kiss My Hocks, Combined is out of the Corona Cartel mare Bet Your Corona, a half-sister to RG3 winner Ice Shaker and stakes-placed Heza Valiant Hero and Blissful Bay.
