LETHRIDGE, ALB—APRIL 25, 2015—The Alberta Quarter Horse Racing Association will conduct its first annual “Sport of Speed” Yearling and Mixed Sale on September 6 at the Lethbridge Exhibition Grounds.

Yearlings that go through the "Sport of Speed Sale" will be eligible to run in the trials of a $30,000-added sale futurity scheduled for the Fall of 2016. A total estimated purse of $70,000 in expected.

The sale nomination fee of $200 is due by June 15 and $300 after that date. The sale company will charge a 4 percent commission. Broodmares, stallions and horses-of-racing age will also be accepted to the sale.
