RUIDOSO DOWNS, NM—AUGUST 21, 2015—The 2015 Ruidoso New Mexico Bred Quarter Horse & Thoroughbred Sale will kickoff this evening (Aug. 21) with the Quarter Horse Yearling session.

The sale, scheduled for Friday and Saturday (Aug. 21-22) at the Ruidoso Horse Sale Pavilion on Joe Welch Road in Ruidoso Downs, will feature 323 New Mexico Bred Quarter Horse yearlings, Thoroughbred yearlings and broodmares.

Hip #1 will sell shortly after the completion of the final All American Futurity trial on Friday. The last trial on day 1 has an estimated posttime of 4:24 p.m. (MDT). Hips 1 thru 169 will be offered in the opening session.

The Thoroughbred Yearling Sessions consisting of Hips 170 thru 283 will be offered in the sales second session starting prompting after the final All American Futurity trial on Saturday. A Mixed Session of broodmares and horses of racing age, Hips 284 thru 323 will be offered after the yearling session is completed on Saturday.
