RUIDOSO DOWNS, NM—AUGUST 16, 2018—Ruidoso Horse Sale Company will kick off their annual "New Mexico-Bred Yearlings & Select Foals In Utero Sale" at their sales pavilion at 100 N. Joe Welch road in Ruidoso Downs on Friday.

The two-day auction will feature 97 state-bred Thoroughbred yearlings, 180 New Mexico-bred Quarter Horse yearlings and 24 select Quarter Horse Foals In Utero.

Friday's schedule will include the Thoroughbred yearlings, Hips 1 thru 97 and Quarter Horse yearlings Hips 98 thru 150.

On Saturday the sale will get underway with Quarter Horse Yearling Hips 151 thru 211. They will then sell the Select Quarter Horse Foals In Utero, Hips 212 thru 235 and then the final session is Quarter Horse Yearlings Hips 237 thru 301.

The sale will start each evening after the close of live racing at Ruidoso Downs. Trials for the 2018 $3 million All American Futurity(G1) are scheduled Friday and Saturday and the $1,237,604 All American Derby(G1) on Sunday.
