Pre-Sale Party Kicks Off 43rd Annual Heritage Place Winter Mixed Sale Activities Wednesday

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK—JANUARY 10, 2022—Heritage Place Sale Company will kick-off the 2022 sales season with their annual pre-sale party and hosting of the 2021 AQHA Racing Champions ceremony on Wednesday evening (Jan 12) at their facility in Oklahoma City.

The 43rd annual Winter Mixed Sale features 933 head of broodmares, short yearlings, stallions and horses of racing age.

“We are very excited about the offering in this sale, the catalog is stacked with black type and quality from start to finish. I believe everyone will find something in this sale," Heritage Place General Manager Spence Kidney said.

Everyone is welcome to attend the annual pre-sale party from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. (CST). Live entertainment featuring Steve Crossley will be provided in the barn area. The 2021 AQHA Racing Champions announcement ceremony (see related story) will get underway at 6:00 p.m. (CST) in the sale company auditorium.

Horses will be available for viewing on Wednesday.

The opening session on Thursday (Jan 13) will begin promptly at 10 a.m. featuring Hips 1 thru 312. Breeding's to Apollitical Blood, Dulce Sin Tacha, First Down Dash, Jet Black Patriot and Kvn Corona will be sold Thursday to benefit the Sam Thompson Foundation.

A memorial service for longtime horseman and veterinarian Jerry Bailey will be held in the sale's auditorium thirty-minutes after the conclusion of Thursday's sale session. The memorial will be available via live streaming from the Heritage Placae website for those who cannot attend.

Friday's second session will get underway at 10:00 a.m. and will feature Hips 313 thru 622. Breeding's to FDD Dynasty, First Down Dash, Jess Good Candy, Kiss My Hocks and Teller Cartel will be sold Friday to benefit the Sam Thompson Foundation.

OQHRA will hold a reception in the restaurant and club immediately following Friday's session.

Saturday's closing session will get underway promptly at 10:00 a.m. offering Hips 623 thru 933.

Online bidding approval needs to be completed by the end of the day Tuesday (Jan 11) for approval.
