OKLAHOMA CITY, OK—MAY 19, 2017— Saturday racing at Remington Park contained four trial events for the Grade 1, $200,000 (estimated) Speedhorse Graham Futurity for Paints and Appaloosas. Topping the qualifying heats was Hotwiredotcom as he bids for his second futurity triumph of 2017.

The winner of the Oklahoma Paint & Appaloosa Futurity in March at Remington Park, Hotwiredotcom won the first 350-yard trial of the night by an easy 1-1/4 lengths over his nearest competitor. Owned by Shirley Wheeler of Boynton, Okla. and trained by Guillermo Valdivia, jockey Larry Payne was up for the romp as the 2-year-old Paint gelding crossed the finish in 17.654 seconds over a fast track.

Hotwiredotcom has now qualified for all three futurities this season where Paints are eligible. He finished fourth in the American Paint Classic in April. Bred in Oklahoma by Wheeler, Hotwiredotcom is by CRM Livewire from the Willie Wanta Dash (QH) mare Iwilliewantarunner (QH). He has won four of his five attempts this season.
