Ruidoso Repurchase Posts Fastest Time From 12 Retama Park Training Races Friday

SELMA, TX--MARCH 16, 2018--Dominyun Tee Off, a Ruidoso Select Yearling Sale repurchase owned-and-bred by Francisco Javier Garza, posted the fastest time during 12 training races conducted Friday afternoon at Retama Park for 2-year-olds.

Saddled by trainer Saul Ramirez, Jr. and ridden by jockey Eddie Sanchez Dominyun Tee Off raced over the 250 yards in :13.54 seconds to set the top time.

The son of multiple stakes sire Dominyun is a half-brother to Oklahoma Futurity(G2) winner Tee Chic, who was also raced by owner-breeder Francisco Javier Garza. Repurchased from the Bielau Oaks Ruidoso consignment for $10,000, the sorrel colt is out of First Down Tee by Burrs First Down.

Trainer Ramirez and jockey Sanchez teamed to get four winners on Friday's card including the second fastest time with Cadillac Cash, a FDD Dynasty colt racing for owner Rolando Morales.

Bred in Texas by Mary and Jack Evans, Jr., Cadillac Cash posted a :13.59 clocking for the 250 yards. He is out of the Tres Seis mare Evans Express.

The trainer-jockey duo's other winners were Dees Jetting Diva, a Jet Black Patriot filly in Race 14 and Louisiana Fun, a The Louisiana Cartel filly in Race 10.

Other trainers with winners include Felipe Garza, Josue Ponce, Juan Carlos Saucedo, Leon Bard and Santiago Riojas, Jr. Trainer and rider information was not available for the winners of Race 7, 14, and 16.

Stallion's Jet Black Patriot and The Louisiana Cartel sired two training winners each on Friday. Other stallions with winners include Captain Courage, Dealagame, Desiro, Jess Fly With Me, Jess Lips and Winners Version.

Owner Eleazar Martinez had two winners, Captain Valor, a Captain Courage colt in Race 7 and the The Louisiana Cartel filly, Gray Hair Grace in Race 11.
