Miles City Contests Three More Divisions of Bucking Horse Sale Futurity on Sunday

MILES CITY, MT—MAY 20, 2018—Due to the cancellation of the May 13th trials for the Bucking Horse Sale Futurity and a short race meet, Miles City was forced to run three additional divisions of the futurity today races on today (Sun).

BHS Futurity (not black type) – Division 3 - My Illusive Secret

In her first career start, Gerald Kaul's homebred My Illusive Secret was much the best leaving the gate under jockey Luis Peralta. She defeated Eyesa Special Marvel by 1 -¾ lengths to win the $7,500 Bucking Horse Futurity-Div. 3.

The daughter of multiple stakes sire Brindis Por Cayenne stopped the clock in :16.527 seconds on "good" racing surface, into a 10 mph headwind, for the 300 yards.

Trainer Jesse Villegas conditions the Wyoming-bred filly from the Beduino Secret mare Secretly Illusive. She earned $4,125 for the effort.

Runner-up Eyesa Special Marvel races for owner Juanita Villegas and is also trained by Jesse Villegas. Ridden by Shaundra Larsen, the son of Eyesa Special Slim earned $1,650. Bred by Broken Bones Cattle Co., the black gelding is out of Cute Suki Brown by First N Six.

Broken Bones Cattle Co's homebred Eyesa Special Wylie finished one-length back in third to pick up $900. Also trained by Villegas, the Eyesa Special Slim gelding is out of Sixs Sweet Emmajane by First N Six. Holly Gervais was riding.

Alright Beach, Cd Okie Dokie Proud and Lil Know Fishinhole completed the field.

BHS Futurity (not black type) – Division 4 - Wyoming Dashetta Go

Another homebred racing for Gerald Kaul scored in the $7,000 Bucking Horse Futurity-Div. 4. Wyoming Dashetta Go broke well, bobbled mid-race under jockey Shaundra Larsen, but held on to win by a neck over Minnie Delite Df.

Also making her career start, Wyoming Dashetta Go is a daughter of Brindis Por Cayenne from the First Down Dash mare Dashetta Go. She completed the 300 yards in :16.808 seconds into a 12 mph headwind over racing surface labeled "Good". She picked up $3,850 for the win.

Minnie Delite Df, a daughter Class Jump from the Halftime Dash mare Minnies Half, earned $1,540 for second. Gonzalo Valles, Jr. had the riding call for trainer Jesse Villegas. Juanita Villegas owns the Bernard Dinneen Utah-bred filly.

Another daughter of Class Jump, Minnies Dream Boat, finished three-quarter back in third. Owned and bred by Bernard Dinneen and trained by Villegas, Minnies Dream Boat is out of Merrie Minnie by Merridoc. She earned $910. Holly Gervais had the riding call.

Runnin J and Eyesa Special Sawyer completed the field.

BHS Futurity (not black type) – Division 5 – Rain Onya River

A late surge by Rain Onya River, under jockey Jesus Flores, got her nose in front of Ella Diabla at wire in Division 5 of the $7,000 Buck Horse Futurity on Sunday.

Conditioned by David Greene the daughter of Choctaw River completed the 300 yards in :16.500 seconds over a "good" racing surface into a 10 mph headwind. She earned $3,850 for owner Dan Lapierre.

Jerry and Cheri Cook's Wyoming homebred Ella Diabla earned $1,540 for second. Jesse Villegas saddled the Wave Carver filly out of Hawks Special Agent by Form Ten Ninty. Luis Peralta was riding.

Cd Tequila Sunrise, a daughter of Bricks Victory, finished third for owner/breeder Carol Lee. Paul Greene saddled the sorrel filly from the First N Six mare Signature Rose. Ridden by jockey Cordarelton Benn, Cd Tequila Sunrise earned $910 for the effort.

The remainder of the field, Eyesa Special Gemma and Eyesa Special Jade, were both scratched.
