AURORA, CO—JULY 14, 2018—Perkin Desire, a 4-year-old daughter of champion sire Desirio, picked up back-to-back stakes wins at Arapahoe Park when she handily defeated Sk Duck Dynasty in the $15,000 Dolls Prodigy Stakes Saturday. Last month the bay filly got her first career stakes win at the Park in the Leo Beau Dash Stakes.
Ridden by jockey Jhaciel Soto, Perkin Desire completed the 350 yard course in :18.025 seconds, into a 5 mph headwind, to pick up the winners' purse valued at $9,000. Owned-and-trained by Roberto Gomez, Perkin Desire has compiled a (15) 5-1-2 record and banked $38,810.

Runner-up Sk Duck Dynasty races for owners Mason King and George Seward. Manuel Chavez conditions the Colorado homebred daughter of champion sire FDD Dynasty from the Thoroughbred mare Sentimentalromances by Maudlin. The multiple stakes-placed filly picked up $3,000 for today's effort to boost her earnings total to $38,098. She was also second to Perkin Desire in the Leo Bau Dash Stakes on June 30.
David Palafox's owned-and-trained A Tac Man finished 1-¼ lengths back after breaking out and bumping at the start. He earned $1,500 for finishing third in the Dolls Prodigy. Jonathan Dominquez rode the 5-year-old Tac It Like A Man gelding from the Thoroughbred mare Notimetobemad by Majorbigtimesheet. A Tac Man has earned $12,239.
Icy Devon, Aftershock Shake, Royalclassic Corona, Dcgoldenhawk and Chanels Jazz Coco completed the field.
