Crm Livewire's Dominate Pot O Gold Futurity Trials

CLAREMORE, OK—SEPTEMBER 15, 2018—Offspring by the Paint stallion Crm Livewire dominated three trials for the $30,000-added Pot O Gold Futurity for Paint and Appaloosa 2-year-olds Saturday afternoon at Will Rogers Downs.

The stallion sired eight of the 10 qualifiers including fastest qualifier RP Live Wire Dash. The 10 fastest will return to Will Rogers Downs on Saturday, September 29th to vie for the winners' share of the purse going 350 yards.

Ridden by jockey Gonzalo Gutierrez, RP Live Wire Dash won the last of three trials by one-length to record the top qualifying time of :17.695 seconds, a 90 speed index.

Conditioned by trainer Ray Enlow, Rp Live Wire Dash races for owner/breeder Roy Kent Perkins. The Texas homebred 2-year-old, out of Rp Miss Reckless (QH) by Reckless Dash (QH), has compiled a (8) 6-2-0 record this season and banked more than $143,000, winning futurities earlier this season at Remington Park and Fair Meadows.

Agustin Silva rode the second fastest qualifier, Memories Of Lil Hero to a one-length in in the second trial while clocking :17.751 seconds.

R.L. Rick Robinson trains the son of first-crop Quarter Horse sire Lil Pyc (QH) from the Texas Hero mare Memories Of Texas. Levings Racing LLC owns the brown Oklahoma-bred gelding. Buddy Albin is the breeder.

Also a futurity winner Remington Park, Memories Of Lil Hero has won four of five starts and earned $122,351.
