FREDRICKSBURG, TX—AUGUST 11, 2019—Bumped at the start, Jesses Dynsaty took a quick lead to defeat Spicey Fire by a neck in the second of three trials Sunday for the $29,200 G.C.F.A. August Maiden Classic (not black type) at the Gillespie County Fairground. The pair ended the day with the top two qualifying times.

The 10 fastest qualifiers, from three trials for 3-year-old and up maidens at time of nomination, will return on Sunday, August 25th to vie for the $10,220 winner's share of the purse going 350 yards.

Ridden by jockey Jesse Levario, Jesses Dynasty raced over the 350 yard course in :17.867 seconds, into a 10 mph headwind, to equal a 91 speed index. It’s the first caeer win in six starts for the FDD Dynasty gelding from the barn of trainer Josue Ponce.

KAP Racing Stables and Darling Farms co-own the 3-year-old Oklahoma-bred out of Jesses Peach by Mr Jess Perry. Terry and Irene Stennett is the breeder.

Runner-up Spicey Fire held on for the second fastest clocking of :17.901 seconds, a 90 speed index. Still a maiden in three starts, the 3-year-old son of Fighter On Fire races for owner Hector Silva and is trained by Angel Sanchez.

Jose Martinez had the riding call aboard the Louisiana-bred out of Okey Dokey Shania by Okey Dokey Dale. Gould Farms in the breeder.
