SHAKOPEE, MN —AUGUST 11, 2019—Royal Cash Flash, fastest qualifier to the $72,300 Gopher State Futurity, cleared the field by a half-length as the winner of the final on Sunday afternoon at Canterbury Park.

Owner and breeder Brenda Reiswig bred the filly in Oklahoma out of Seis the Royal Cash, by Tres Seis. Seis the Royal Cash won the same race in 2013, and remarkably, both fillies did so out of the same post on the inside.

"Her mother won this race six years ago, and did it from the rail too," Reiswig said. "She’s been a good girl. We’re very proud of her. "
