Sheebe A Banshee Wins Fourth Straight With Gary Waite Maiden Stakes

EVANSTON, WY—AUGUST 11, 2019—Sheebe A Banshee, under jockey Uriel Dominguez, defeated Bf Mightymemorylane by three-quarters to win the $27,500 Gary Waite Maiden Stakes (not black type) Sunday at Wyoming Downs. It was her fourth consecutive win.

Saddled by Jordan Hadley, the Shady Stables homebred completed the 330 yards in :16.702 seconds, equaling a 98 speed index. The $12,905 winners' purse boosted her bankroll to over $28,000.

Shady Stables bred the daughter of multiple stakes sire Sir Runaway Dash in Utah from the Chicks A Blazin mare Sheebe A Blazin. The sorrel filly who was winless last year has compiled a (11) 4-1-2 record. She was third in the Sweetwater Futurity at 2.

Bf Mightymemorylane, a daughter of Mighty B Valiant racing for owner Jon Lane Henderson, earned $4,950 for second. Alvaro Torres saddled the Utah-bred out of Bf Memory Lane by Maknmoves. Jockey Jose Figueroa had the riding call aboard the Birell Farms bred 3-year-old.

The royally-bred A Famous Corona finished half-a-length back in third to earn $3,025 for owner's Jim and Chris Nebeker. Riley Moosman trains the One Famous Eagle colt out of Corona Perfection by Corona Cartel. Jesus Valenzuela was riding. Pedro Barbizan Santiago Leite bred the 3-year-old in California.

Party With A Purpose, Hes A Famous Eagle, Dash For Dennie, Cowgirlshavesecrets, Jsgstrokerslittlesis, Hez Fabulous and E Gmail completed the field.
