GRAND PRAIRIE, TX—SEPTEMBER 21, 2019—It was Chilitos who set the bar high in the first trial (race 4) of the night for the Grade 2 $344,050 Dash For Cash Futurity when he clocked the 400-yard distance in :19.769 seconds into a 13 mph headwind on a fast track.

Trial after trial his time held and no one could match it. It was the second career win for the son of leading sire Apollitical Jess is out of the Game Patriot mare Mary Me Anna. Chilitos, an Oklahoma homebred racing for Omar and Anna Paredes, is trained by Adrian Huitron and was ridden by Nestor Duran.

A finalist in the Remington Park Oklahoma-Bred Futurity(RG1) in April, Chilitos entered the trials off a second-place effort in the All American Futurity trials on August 16. He has compiled a (5) 2-2-0 record and earned $56,599 this season.

Domishay, under jockey Jesse Levario, rolled to a 2-¼ length win in the final trial (Race 12) to get the second fastest time of :19.816 seconds, a 95 speed index into a 13 mph headwind.

Saddled by trainer Josue Ponce, Domishay entered the trials off a win in the Cherokee Nation Stakes at Fair Meadows on July 27th.

Paula Cristina Villatoro owns the son of multiple stakes sire Dominyun.

Bred in Oklahoma by Laura and Dan Erickson, from the Mr Eye Opener mare Salty Shay, Domishay has compiled a (8) 4-1-1- record and earned $40,972 this season.

Multiple graded stakes winner Trump My Record returned to the win column in a big way in the eighth trial (Race 11). The son of first-crop sire Apollitical Blood powered away under jockey Eddie Sanchez to win by 2-¼ lengths and establish the third fastest time of :19.971 seconds, a 93 speed index into a 13 mph headwind.

Cruz E. Nava owns the bay colt from the Pyc Paint Your Wagon mare Breck N Records. Bred by Fulton Quien Sabe Ranches LP, Trump My Record has won six of seven career starts including the Sam Houston Futurity(G2) and the Harrah's Entertainment Futurity(G3).

An earner of $362,802, he suffered his only loss in the TQHA Sale Futurity(RG2) in July after a troubled start.

Because there were fewer than 100 total horses entered in the trials there will not be a consolation this year.
