ALTOONA, IA—OCTOBER 12, 2019— Kiss Me Anywhere swerved in at the start under jockey Juan Pulido then drew off to defeat Rm Okeys Wagon by three-quarters in the $171,796 Jim Bader Futurity Saturday night at Prairie Meadows.

Saddled by trainer Clinton Crawford, Kiss Me Anywhere covered the 350 yards in :17.476 seconds, equaling a 101 speed index into a 5 mph crosswind. The $77,308 winners' purse boosted her earnings total to $102,757.

Owner-breeder Summer Hill Farm LLC bred the daughter of a leading first-crop sire Kiss My Hocks in Iowa from the Pyc Paint Your Wagon mare Paint Me Anywhere. Kiss Me Anywhere was also a finalist in the Rainbow QH Juvenile Stakes at Ruidoso Downs last summer. She has won three of six starts.

Runner-up Rm Okeys Wagon earned $30,923 for owner Lisa Baumeister. Cody Smith had the riding call aboard the Lil Kool Wagon gelding for trainer Wayne Garner. Bred by Royal and Marilyn Maupin, from the Okey Dokey Dale mare Okey Dokey Dixie, the bay gelding had banked $54,487 this season.

James Leeper's homebred Gracies Tuition finished 1-˝ lengths back to earn $17,180 for third. Verle Bohner trains the Lil Kool Wagon gelding out of Majestic Jet Black by Jet Black Patriot. Brett Birzer was up on the $29,156 earner.

Haul Your Wood, Our War Hero, Apollitical Cash, Jess Lippy and Cr Hez The Man completed the field. Hesa Eye Of Gold land Mf Docs Corona were both scratched.
