CLAREMORE, OK—NOVEMBER 9, 2019—Cajun King turned the tables on fastest qualifier Liarliar Hocksonfire to win the Oklahoma Horsemen's Association Mystery Futurity Saturday afternoon at Will Rogers Downs.

In the September 22nd trials, Liarlair Hocksonfire defeated Cajun King by a neck as the pair posted the top to qualifying times. Today Cajun King, under jockey Jimmy Brooks, got the break on his rival then held on to win the $189,136 final by a neck.

Saddled by longtime trainer Eddie D. Willis, Cajun King completed the 350 yards in :17.594 seconds, equaling a 95 speed index into a 7 mph crosswind. It was the second win eight starts for the son of champion sire The Louisiana Cartel and the $76,154 winners' purse boosted his bankroll to $106,251.
