SELMA, TX—MARCH 20, 2020—Track conditions were blamed on Retama Park officials canceling Friday's training card after the first two races.

Race 1 thru 3 were carded for Maiden 3-Year-Olds & Up while the remainder of program was to be Maiden 2-Year-Olds. All races were to be contested over 250 yards.

Toreto, an unstarted 3-year-old , posted the fastest time of the day after winning race 2 for trainer Jose Sanchez III. Eddie Sanchez rode the gelded son of leading sire Pyc Paint Your Wagon to a :13.48 clocking over a sloppy track in the rain. The temperature was recorded at 58 degrees.
