MALAD CITY, ID—AUGUST 8, 2020—Oneida County Fair hosted two non-blacktype stakes on Saturday's race card.

Oneida County Maturity

Dashair Special dueled Rob That Wagon to a nose win in the $4,700 Oneida County Maturity (not blacktype) on Saturday at the Oneida County Fair.

Ridden by jockey Taylor Smith, the son of multiple stakes sire Dashair, completed the 300 yards in :15.345 seconds to equal a 95 speed index. Mark Hanson conditions multiple stakes winner Dashair Special for owner-breeder Larry Chapple. The Dashair 5-year-old has won of 7 of 15 career starts and banked nearly $30,000.

James Hanson saddled runner-up Rob That Wagon, a 10-time multiple stakes winning son of leading sire Pyc Paint Your Wagon. Diego Rosales rode the brown gelding out of First Tea Rose by First Down Dash. Bred in Texas by Bob and Jerry Gaston, Rob That Wagon has earned $106,993.

Jt Easy Bug finished half-a-length back to earn $705 for third. Glen Jamieson trains the son of Jess Got Easier for himself and Jill Jamison. The Idaho homebred is out of Mess Perry Bug by Dashing Jess Perry. Also a stakes winner he has earned $50,688. Dallas Erickson was riding.

Pyc Disco and Shesa Dashair completed the field. High Flier and She Zooms were scratched.

3-R's County Tire Maiden Frolic

Game Stealer, a 3-year-old son of champion sire Foose, defeated Volcoms Disco by half-a-length to win the $4,500 3-R's County Tire Maiden Frolic Stakes (not blacktype) Saturday afternoon at Oneida County Fair.

Ridden by jockey Eric Ayala, Game Stealer completed the 300 yards in :15.719 seconds to pocket the winner's purse valued at $2,700.

Leading trainer Monty Arrossa saddled the California-bred gelding to his third consecutive win for owner Five Livestock Company LLC. Edward C. Allred bred the four-time winner from the Walk Thru Fire mare Hot To Hit. He has banked $16,339.

Volcoms Disco showed late speed under jockey Brian Beetem to earned $1,125 for second. Owned-and-trained by Duane Lafferty, the Oklahoma-bred son of All American Futurity sire Volcom is out of the Check Him Out mare Check This Disco. VWP, Jr. Inc. is the breeder.

Slugger Dale put in a solid effort under jockey Jose Figueroa to finish third. Ricardo Castillo trains the son of second-crop sire Wagons West for owner Orlando Olivas. Kapp Investment Company LLC bred the bay gelding in Utah form the Raise A Secret mare Donnasecret.

Hocks Fast Wagon and Wicked Royal Runaway completed the field.
