Grade 1 Winner One Handsome Man to New Mexico for 2015

BOSQUE, NM—JANUARY 26, 2015—One Handsome Man SI 97, winner of the 2012 Grade 1 Dash For Cash Futurity, will stand the 2016 breeding season at TNL Farm, Inc., near Bosque, New Mexico. His introductory fee to the state if $1,500.

“We are very excited to welcome One Handsome Man to the state of New Mexico. A son of leading sire One Famous Eagle with a champion female family is a welcome addition to our stallion lineup," Terry Lane said.

Owned by Famous Lane Farm LLC, One Handsome Man is accredited New Mexico-Bred, Beehive and Bitteroot participating stallion. His first foals will be born this year.

Bred in Texas by Robert and Helen Wood and trained by Eddie D. Willis, the gray colt has won or placed seven of 10 starts to 3, 2013 and earned $187,792. He won the $425,565 Dash For Cash Futurity(G1) and was a finalist in the Grade 1 Texas Classic Derby.

The royally bred One Handsome Man is by the industry's all-time leading first crop sire One Famous Eagle, who from three crops to race has sired 149 winners(61%), 58 stakes horses (24%), earners of more than $9.5 million with average earnings per starter of nearly $40,000.

One Handsome Man's dam Helens First Choice finished fourth in the Grade 1 West Texas Futurity, she is the dam of four winners from four starters including One Handsome Man SI 97 (see above), G2 winner This Dude Can Fly SI 102 ($186,603), Forbiden Ivory SI 92 ($19,072), etc.

Out of the *Beduino TB mare Harems Choice, Helens First Choice is a full sister to Champion All American Futurity(G1) winner and leading sire Royal Quick Dash SI 106 ($1,046,80), champion First Sovereign ($278,829), Grade 1 winner and leading sire A Regal Choice ($735,507), Grade 1 winner Harems Last Dash SI 96 ($169,957), stakes winner and G2 placed First Rate Choice SI 104 ($98,220), and stakes-placed and G1 finalist Scarlet Oh SI 103 ($29,689).
