VINTON, LA—OCTOBER 5, 2015—First crop stakes sire and two-time AQHA Racing Champion Prospect To The Top will stand at Delta Equine Center in 2016. His fee has been set at $2,500.

From a very limited number of five starters in his first crop to race Prospect To The Top is among the top 20 leading first crop sire of money earners. He has sired two winners and one stakes-placed runner with average earnings per starter of $12,184. His top performers include TQHA Sales Futurity(RG2) third place finisher Paloma Blanca B ($46,485), Prospect Shadow ($5,680), A Hot Prospect ( $4,632), Ms Props N Tops ($3,960), etc.

Racing for owner Joel Tavarez, the six-year-old bay stallion is a multiple Grade 1 winner that won or placed in 19 to 26 career starts and earned $992,670. His was named the AQHA Racing Champion 3-Year-Old Colt in 2011 and the AQHA Racing Champion Aged Stallion in 2012.

Prospect To The Top won The Championship at Sunland Park S.(G1), Zia Park Championship S.(G1), Hobbs America Futurity(G2), Hobbs America Derby(G2), James Isaac Hobbs S.(G2), West Texas Derby(G3), and the All American Gold Cup(G3)-twice. He was second in the All American Derby(G1) and Mr Jet Moore H.(G3) and finished third in the Southwest Juvenile Championship(G1),

Retiring sound at age 5, he was also a finalist in the All American Futurity(G1), Ruidoso Derby(G1), The Championship At Sunland Park(G1)-twice, Zia Park Championship S.(G1)-twice, Refrigerator H.(G1) and Higheasterjet Handicap(G3).

Bred by long-time leading breeders Sue and John May, Prospect To The Top is by Corona Cartel’s stakes winning and stakes siring son Coronas Prospect. The Mays bred the first two dams of Prospect To The Top and bred the dam of Coronas Prospect.

Prospect To The Top is out of the 3-time graded stakes placed winner and G1 finalist Cream To The Top $55,506. Champion producer Cream To The Top is by Champion Easily Smashed and is a sister to Black Gold Futurity Championship winner Saloon $229,761.
