World Champion One Dashing Eagle Gets First Stakes Winner

GUTHRIE, OK—JUNE 5, 2016—First crop sire and 2012 AQHA Racing World Champion One Dashing Eagle got his first stakes winner Sunday when In Kuh Hoots won the $78,505 Cherry Creek Futurity at Arapahoe Park.

Ridden by jockey Alfredo Triana, Jr., In Kuh Hoots completed the 330 yards in :17.034 seconds into a 5 mph headwind. The $31,402 winner's purse boosted 2-year-old gelding's earnings total to $34,162 with a 2-for-2 record.

John Hammes conditions the homebred for owner/breeders Lisa Beaupez, Thomas Bradbury and Thomas Bradbury, Jr. He is out of the Shazoom mare Forever Bradgelina.

His top performers include the aforementioned In Kuh Hoots (2 wins in 2 starts, $34,162, Cherry Creek Futurity), Ima Ramblin Eagle (Winner, $6,177, 2nd Pot O'Gold Futurity), Df Dashing Champ ($19,500, finalist Sam Houston Futurity-G2), Two Timing Suzy (winner, $16,616), Dashing Brooks (winner, $12,168), C Bars Dashing Eagle (winner, $8,278), Double Dash (winner, $8,180), etc.

One Dashing Eagle won six of seven career starts at 2, earning $2,079,065, winning the All American Futurity(G1), Golden State Million Futurity(G1) and Ed Burke Million Futurity(G1). The son of leading sire One Famous Eagle is out of the G3 winning First Down Dash mare One Sweet Dash ($81,937), a sister to leading sire Walk Thru Fire. She is the dam of 12 ROM including One Dashing Eagle (see above), G1 winner and leading second crop sire One Sweet Jess ($953,592) and stakes winner Hes A Standout ($45,402).
