GUTHRIE, OK—OCTOBER 19, 2016—Last year's AQHA Racing Champion 2-Year-Old Jess Good Candy arrived at Lazy E Ranch last week in preparation of his stallion career in 2017. Owned by PV Quarter Horse Farms, LLC, the son of Good Reason SA will stand for a fee of $9,500.

Trained by Clinton Crawford Jess Good Candy won eight-of-eight career starts and earned $2,014,703. He won the Grade 1 All American Futurity, Grade 1 Ruidoso Derby and the Mr Master Bug Handicap.

Jess Good Candy's breeder, the late Carl Pevehouse, is one of the industries most successful breeders of all time.

Currently #6 on the All-Time Leading Money earners list, Jess Good Candy is one of only three stallions in 33 years to win the All American Futurity at 2, then return to Ruidoso and win a Grade 1 derby. He is also the only horse among the industry's top 100 all-time money earners remains undefeated.

His sire, Champion Good Reason SA won or placed in nine races and earned $1,446,727. Named the AQHA Racing Champion Aged Horse and Aged Stallion of 2011, the son of former Thoroughbred Horse of the Year Favorite Trick won the Los Alamitos Two Million(1), Champion of Champions(G1), Golden State Derby(G1) and Los Alamitos Winter Championship(G1).

Jess Good Candy is out of Jess Send Candy, a daughter of the #8 all-time leading dam sire, Mr Jess Perry. At only 8-years-old, she is already the dam of three stakes winners including multiple graded winner This Candys Awesome SI 105 ($424,265 to 5, 2016), multiple stakes winner Send Me This Wagon SI 110 ($141,929 to 4, 2016) and G3-placed Honeymoon Candy SI 92 ($59,775 to 4, 2016), etc.

The second dam is the graded stakes winning Leaving Memories mare Send Me The Candy ($135,976). This female line is loaded with numerous stakes winners and earners of more than$100,000.
