THATCHER, AZ—DECEMBER 31, 2016—The Arizona Quarter Horse Racing Association will kick off their annual Stallion Service Auction on Sunday, January 1st with more than 50 leading stakes sires to choose from.

They will accept bids for 30 days through Monday, January 30th at 6:00 p.m. (MST-Sharp). Winning bidders must submit a check made out to AZQRA Stallion Service Auction or pay by credit card within five days of the auction closure.

''Please check out the wonderful selection of stallion services we have to choose from,'' AZQRA Executive Director Loretta Brasher said. ''Remember you can save some money and support the Arizona Quarter Horse Association.''

All breedings from a purchased stallion are eligible for the 2020 Desert Classic Futurity which always boasts a purse in excess of $70,000.

''Arizona is a wonderful place to run in the Spring,'' Brasher added. ''So please go on line and make your selections.''
