Grade 3 winner Eos A Political Win will stand his first year in 2019 at Dunn Ranch in Wynnewood, Oklahoma.

Grade 3 Winner Eos A Political Win To Dunn Ranch for 2019

WYNNEWOOD, OK—Grade 3 winner Eos A Political Win SI 102 will join the Dunn Ranch stallion roster for 2019, the farm announced today. He is expected to continue to race through the end of the year. A fee has not yet been announced.

The 3-year-old son of 2018 leading sire Apollitical Jess captured the Dash For Cash Derby(G3) in his last start (October 6) at Lone Star Park. Prior to the Dash For Cash trials he won the Retama Park Derby in July.

Trained by Rolando Almanza and campaigned by Elite Oilfield Services,Eos A Political Win has won or placed 14 of 16 career starts and banked $309,520.

He posted a runner-up effort in the Speedhorse Futurity(G3) and was third in the Heritage Place Derby(G3) and Evangeline Downs Futurity(G3). The bay colt also qualified for the Black Gold 350 Championship Futurity(RG3), Remington Park Oklahoma-Bred Futurity(RG2) and Remington Park Oklahoma-Bred Derby.

"I have watched this colt for two years and have been impressed how much he gives in every start—proof when he's only finished off the board twice in 16 starts," Matt Dunn said this week. "He has won or placed in stakes races on five different racetracks in three states."

Eos A Political Win was the fastest qualifier for the Oklahoma Futurity and the Evangeline Futurity.

Dunn and his wife Bendi, who own Dunn Ranch in Wynnewood, Oklahoma, purchased an interest inEos A Political Win after last week's Dash For Cash Derby.

Eos A Political Win's sire world champion Apollitcal Jess SI 107 ($1,399,831) is currently the #1 Leading Sire of Money Earners and #1 Leading Sire of 2-Year-Old Money Earners in 2018. From only five crops to race the son of #3 all-time sire Mr Jess Perry has sired 273 winners(65%), 96 stakes horses(23%), 2 champions, earners of $22.1 million with average earnings per starter in excess of $53,000.

The second dam Miss Eye Wear, a winning daughter of leading broodmare sire Mr Eye Opener, is dam of 100% ROM winners and five black type from nine foal to race include Grade 3 Northlands Futurity winner First Class Smarty SI 102 ($133,425), Bob Morehouse Stakes winner V OS Filo SI 99 ($73,692 to 4, 2018), Minnesota Derby winner V Os Red Hot Cole SI 96 ($46,985), stakes winner Pitha SI 99 (see above), and stakes-placed Pollitical Eye Appeal SI 99 ($27,806 to 4, 2018).

She is also the grand-dam of stakes winner Furys Folly SI 99 ($57,485) and stakes-placed Ali Returns SI 82 (winner at 2, $20,070).
