Bred by Julianna Hawn Holt, Apollitical Spirit sold for $180,000 at the Ruidoso Select Yearling Sale. He defeated Grade 1 stakes winner Chazaq ($963,664) in his Los Alamitos Two Million Futurity(G1), won his All American Derby(G1) trial and was finalist in the Town Policy Stakes and A Ransom Handicap .
