Graded Stakes Sire FDD Going Grand Relocates To Royal Vista Ranch, LLC For 2023

WAYNE, OK–AUGUST 12, 2022–Graded stakes sire FDD Going Grand SI 112 will stand the 2023 season at Royal Vista Ranch, LLC in Wayne, Oklahoma. His fee will remain $3,000 with consideration.

Owned-and-bred by Mercy Hinklin's Horse Farm, FDD Going Grand is a Grade 3 multiple stakes winner and track record setting son of three-time world champion sire FDD Dynasty.

"We are very excited about adding FDD Going Grand to our stallion roster," Royal Vista Ranch farm manager Laura Erickson said. "He is the best son of FDD Dynasty available and has a very high percentage of black type from a limited number of starters."

From a limited number of starters in six crops to race, FDD Going Grand has sired 36 winners, 9 black type (14%), earner of over $1.3 million and average earnings per starter of more than $21,500.

FDD Going Grand's top performers include Whatahistoric Moment SI 105 (6 wins to 3, $172,352 Old South Futurity, EVD 550 Stakes, etc.), Da Devil Made Medoit SI 107 (5 wins to to 4, $170,778 Retama Park Derby, etc.), Going Noble SI 102 (2 wins at 2, $109,541 Harrah's Futurity-G3, etc.), The Grand Legend SI 97 (4 wins to 6, $90,535 Heritage Place Juvenile, etc.), The Most High Rules SI 96 (2 wins to 3, $60,339), Tdz Going Nuts SI 99 (3 wins to 4, $47,482), etc.

At the racetrack, FDD Going Grand won or placed in 15 of 17 career starts and earned $197,510. He won the Grade 3 Develop A Plan Stakes, Old South Derby and Evangeline Downs Dash Stakes. He was second in the Dash For Cash Futurity(G1), Firecracker Derby, Gentilly Dash and Sam's Town Stakes.

FDD Going Grand set a new track record in the Evangeline Downs Dash Stakes for 220 yards in :11.530 seconds.
