• $200,000-est. New Mexico State Fair Thoroughbred Futurity (R): $200 to nominate
• $250,000-est. New Mexico State Fair Quarter Horse Futurity (R): $200 to nominate
• $200,000-est. New Mexico State Fair Quarter Horse Derby (R): $200 to nominate
• $350,000-est. La Fiesta Quarter Horse Futurity: $200 to nominate

Nominations for the following Thoroughbred and Quarter Horse stakes close on January 15, 2017:

• $125,000-est. Casino at the Downs Thoroughbred Derby (R): $250 to nominate
• $150,000-est. First Moonflash Quarter Horse Maturity (R): $500 to nominate
