You Can Help Keep Your Florida Quarter Horse Industry Alive — A Second Call To Action
In addition to yesterday's action the FQHRA needs horsemen to contact Senator Bill Galvano and Representative Pepi Diaz to let them know the importance of AQHA racing in Florida.

You Can Help Keep Your Florida Quarter Horse Industry Alive — A Second Call To Action

Dear FQHRA members, owners and trainers who have raced in Florida and Florida AQHA members:

Please contact these two key negotiators listed in this call to action, Senator Bill Galvano and Representative Pepi Diaz to let them know the importance of AQHA racing in Florida and that you will depend on them to save our AQHA racing industry in Florida.

FQHRA’s position on current pari-mutuels is simple: just follow the law. If a horse track has a permit to run 40 days of horse races, then they should be required to run the appropriate number of live races and not be rewarded with the ability to have card rooms or slot machines without following the intent and spirit of the law.

Please email Senator Galvano at Galvano.bill@flsenate.gov and representative Pepi Diaz at jose.diaz@myfloridahouse.gov and ask for their support.
