OKLAHOMA CITY, OK—APRIL 28, 2017—The trainer-jockey team of Kasey Willis and Cesar Gomez piled up the wins on Friday night at Remington Park, working together for three victories.

The Willis-Gomez hat trick began in the eighth race when One Dashing Duck ($9.20 to win) flew to victory to break her maiden in her second career start.

The late daily double, races 11 and 12, then went to Willis and Gomez as Streakin PR ($9) won the 11th with KBR Ground Pounder ($3.80) scoring his first career victory in the 12th.

The training-riding hat trick moved both Willis and Gomez up their respective standings. Willis moved up to nine wins for the season, putting him into a tie for sixth-place in the trainer standings. Gomez now has 14 wins for the season, moving him to a tie for sixth in the jockey standings.

Saturday night racing at Remington Park features the Grade 1, $112,000 American Paint Classic Futurity for 2-year-old Paints who qualified for the event on April 14.

Also on the program, the Grade 1 American Paint Derby and the Victoria Ennis Memorial Stakes. The program also features trial races to determine the qualifiers for the American Quarter Horse Association Challenge races with the finals taking place in May.
