Please contact both Lt. Governor Dan Patrick and your Senator to ask for a vote on the Senate Floor and their support of SB 1971 and SB 1972.

Senate Bill 1971 would create a purse matching fund from the state's general revenue fund that is expected to increase purses by $25 million. As has been well publicized, the Texas Racing Commission and our industry need legislative action to survive.
