ALTOONA, IA—JULY 7, 2017—Stall applications for the 2017 Prairie Meadows Quarter Horse Meet are due next Wednesday, July 12.

The 2017 Quarter Horse season, which consists of 26 days of racing, will begin on Saturday, August 19 and continue through Saturday, October 14.

Race days will typically be on a Friday through Sunday format with exceptions on the opening weekend (Saturday, August 19 and Sunday, August 20) and the final weekend of racing (Thursday, October 12 through Saturday, October 14).

This year, Prairie Meadows will once again host the Bank of America Challenge Championships on closing night of the season Saturday, October 14.
