A celebration of Myrna Rheudasil's life will be held Monday at the Sparkman/Hillcrest Funeral Home in Dallas.

Longtime Texas Horsewoman Myrna Rheudasil Dies

DALLAS, TX—NOVEMBER 16, 2017—Myrna Rheudasil, a longtime Texas horsewoman from Dallas, died Wednesday (Nov. 15) after complications from a stroke she suffered on November 4.

Her life will be celebrated on Monday, November 20 at noon at the Sparkman/Hillcrest Funeral Home on 7405 Northwest Highway in Dallas. Visitation will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. there on Sunday.

Myrna and her late husband Dr. Jerry Rheudasil bred and raced 1983 All American Futurity winner On A High, Rainbow Futurity winner Yankee Win and All American Derby winner Mito Wise Dancer.

After his death in 1989, Myrna continued to campaign a small stable of quarter horses on her own and with such partners as Four Sixes Ranch and Jerry Vaughn Whittle.
