GUTHRIE, OK—FEBRUARY 1 , 2018—One Dashing Eagle, the all-time leading money earning horse of any breed as a 2-year-old, electrified the Quarter Horse world when he hit racetrack in 2012.

Hailing from one of the leading prolific female sire lines in the industry, he won three seven-figure futurities in California and New Mexico and set a single-season earnings record of $2,079,065 to become only the seventh two-year-old in 78 years to be named the AQHA Racing's World Champion.

One Dashing Eagle, who won six of seven starts and was also named overall champion 2-year-old and champion 2-year-old colt that year.

Racing for Jorge Carmona and brothers Jose and Gustavo De la Torre, One Dashing Eagle won the Ed Burke Million Futurity(G1) at Los Alamitos in June, the All American Futurity(G1) at Ruidoso Downs in September and the Golden State Million Futurity(G1) at Los Alamitos in November.

Last year the son of leading sire One Famous Eagle was the Leading Second Crop Sire of Money Earners for 2017. His progeny banked nearly $1.8 million led by the AQHA Racing Champion 2-Year-Old Gelding Eagle Jazz, winner of Ruidoso Futurity(G1) and Rainbow Futurity(G1) while earning $902,849.
